Absolutely, the wattage rating of a laptop charger is a maximum output power rating. Provided the laptop is rated at 65W or less then you can safely use this charger.
Does the charger come with a power cable?
Yes, all of our laptop chargers are shipped with a new UK power cable.
Can I use this charger abroad?
Yes, laptop chargers are designed to be used anywhere in the world. You will either require a travel adapter or a power cable that matches the countries power sockets.
Does this charger come with a guarantee?
All of our laptop charges come with a 2 year guarantee which protects you against manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover physical or accidental damage to the casing, cables or connectors. If the charger fails electronically within the first two years, well replace it free of charge.
What does OEM mean?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Laptop brands do not manufacturer the majority of the parts that make up their laptops. CPUs are manufactured by AMD or Intel, GPUs by Intel, Nvidia or AMD, Hard drives by Seagate and Western Digital, screens by LG and so on. The same goes for AC Adapters or Laptop Chargers. There a five main OEMs for laptop chargers and these are Delta Electronics, Chicony/HiPro, ACBel, Liteon and Flextronics.
