These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on to the site (see date above). You will be asked to read and accept the Terms and Conditions each time you place an order to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.

We recommend that you print and keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.

Our Contract

You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you click the “payment” button.

After you submit an order we will give you an Order Reference Number and details of the products you have ordered. We will send the same details to you in an email acknowledging receipt of your order (Order Acknowledgement). We will then send a further email to confirm your order (Order Confirmation).

Subject to the paragraph headed “IMPORTANT” below, acceptance of your order and the creation of a contract between us will only occur when we send you an email confirming dispatch of your order (Dispatch Notification). Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will email you to tell you so.

IMPORTANT: We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, just occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error (e.g. the price or description of a product you have ordered) we may cancel your order at any time up to the point we send you the product(s) (even if you have received your Order Confirmation email). If we do cancel your order, you will receive a full refund of any charges already paid.

Prices and Payment

All prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds. They exclude delivery charges.

The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order, the applicable delivery charge (if any). All these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.

Subject to the paragraph headed “IMPORTANT” above, prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before, but not after, we confirm your order. If something becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative.

We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards, PayPal and Google Checkout. Payment is deducted when we process your order.

Back Orders

We do our best to ensure that all of our products are available in stock at all times, however this is not always possible. If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you and advise you immediately. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Where We Deliver

We deliver in the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. We will also delivery to Southern Ireland

Delivery Charges

We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. Our charge depends on the delivery destination and whether you choose standard delivery of 2-3 working days or a premium service, and whether or not you have all of your products delivered at the same time.

How We Deliver

Small orders of 1-2 items will be send via Royal Mail Recorded delivery in the case of UK delivery. You will also be given the option of choosing a premium delivery service for a small extra charge during the order process. Small orders destined for Southern Ireland will be sent via Irish Express.

Larger orders will be delivered via courier.

Delivery Times

Small Orders - Royal Mail Recorded Delivery

Small orders of 1-2 items are generally sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Delivery time is usually 2-3 working days from date of dispatch. Please be advised though that Royal Mail allow up to 15 working days from date of dispatch before they will investigate a lost/missing delivery. You will not be able to track delivery until the order has been delivered and signed for.

If you have not received your order after 15 working days from date of dispatch, we will send out a replacement order.

Larger Orders - Premium Courier Delivery

Should you have a larger order or you have chosen a premium courier deliver deliveries are usually as follows;

Next Day Delivery - Usually delivered the following working day after dispatch between the hours of 07:30 and 17:30. We are unable to offer timed delivery slots.
Saturday Delivery - Usually delivered on Saturday Morning between the hours of 07:30 and 13:00.
Southern Ireland - All orders destined for Southern Ireland will be shipped via Irish Express.

Courier deliveries can be tracked online. Please contact us for a tracking number if your delivery is delayed.

Courier delivery times are not guaranteed and as such The Laptop Power Supply Shop will not be held responsible for delayed deliveries outside of our control, we will however work with the customer and the courier company to ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible should there be a problem with your delivery.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the delivery company has access to the delivery address and that somebody (18 years or older) is available at the premises to sign for the delivery.

Failed Deliveries

In the case of a failed delivery, we will e-mail you with the courier contact details and tracking number/s, so that you can arrange for a re-delivery or collection from their depot. Should you not contact the courier within 5 working days the goods will be returned to our warehouse, after which we will issue you with a refund less the initial shipping costs + £10.75 return shipping costs, within 30 working days.

Refused orders will be returned to our warehouse, after which we will issue you with a refund less the initial shipping costs + £10.75 return shipping costs, within 30 working days.

If Royal Mail are unable to deliver they will leave a calling card with details on how to i) arrange a re-delivery ii) collect your order from the collection point. Mail not collected will be returned to our warehouse where upon receipt we will contact you and give you the option of re-delivery at a cost of £3.00 per item, or a refund less initial shipping costs.

Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty or you have not received your complete order, you must notify us withing 48 hours from time of delivery on 0843 289 9013 or simply complete our contact form.

Returns Policy

We will exchange or refund your purchase up to 7 working days* following the day of delivery.

*"Working Days" means all days other than Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays.

If cancelling your purchase under the Distance Selling Regulations, your product must be complete and in 'as new' condition. If you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. The product must not have been used or installed. It should be returned with the original box and packaging, along with any accessories you received with it. Any free gifts received with the product must also be returned.

If you follow the above, we will issue you with a full refund for the cost of the product and any delivery charge paid. However we reserve the right to retain any charge paid for premium delivery services that have already begun or been completed. Refunds take 3-5 working days to be credited to your payment card.

To request a cancellation of your order under the Distance Selling Regulations, please contact us on 0843 289 9013 or use our contact form to request a RMA (Returned Material Authority), before returning any goods. You will need to provide us with your Invoice Number, Order Number or Name and Address.

We reserve the right to refuse any deliveries without the required RMA number attached.

All return delivery costs will be for the customers account. It is advisable that any returns are done via a trackable method as The Laptop Power Supply Shop will not be held responsible for non-delivery of returned items.

Whilst the goods are in your possession you must take reasonable care of them and not use them.

We can not cancel your purchase when:

  • The goods have been physically damaged by the customer.
  • The warranty label(s) is/are found to have been tampered with.
  • The goods are found not to have been sold the the customer by the company.
  • The goods do not have a corresponding RMA (Returned Material Authority) number displayed clearly on the items packaging.

Faulty Goods

If there is a fault with your product within the applicable product guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) or other defect with your order, we will normally offer a prompt exchange service. You will always have the option of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery. After 28 days you will only be offered an exchange. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault prior to exchange or refund.

To request an exchange/refund of your goods, please contact us on 0843 289 9013 or use our contact form to request a RMA (Returned Material Authority), before returning any goods. You will need to provide us with your Invoice Number, Order Number or Name and Address.

Upon return of goods found to be faulty we will return a working replacement of equal or better specification to the customer within 14 working days of us receiving the goods. If, after 14 working days, a replacement cannot be sent for whatever reason, a full refund will be given, if requested, at the current market value of the item. If this is not ascertainable, then a refund will be given for the value of the nearest equivalent item.

All return delivery costs will be for the customers account. It is advisable that any returns are done via a trackable method as The Laptop Power Supply Shop will not be held responsible for non-delivery of returned items.

We can not exchange or refund your purchase when:

  • The goods have been physically damaged by the customer.

Items sold on this website are generally intended for normal domestic and consumer use and not for resale or commercial use.

THIS RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. DETAILS OF YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS ARE AVAILABLE FROM TRADING STANDARDS OR CONSUMER DIRECT.

Privacy Policy

The Laptop Power Supply Shop does not disclose customers information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

We may periodically send you promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart and previously viewed products. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process.

Data collected by this site is used to:

  • Take and fulfill customer orders
  • Administer and enhance the site and service
  • Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
  • Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases

When the order is placed at our website, credit card details are encrypted using the latest 128 bit encryption. We do not store any of your card details either online or offline.
