Terms and Conditions of Sale

Making a Purchase

The Laptop Power Supply Shop does not provide credit and as such accepts the following methods of payment:

Google Checkout - (Delivery to registered address only)
Paypal - (Delivery to registered address only)
Credit Card - (Visa/Mastercard)
Debit Card - (Solo/Maestro/Delta)

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice and/or confirmation of dispatch. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping and Handling

Our goods are shipped using various methods depending on the size, weight and destination of your order

All goods are securely packaged but must be inspected on delivery BEFORE signing for. When delivered you will be signing to confirm that the goods are in good condition. Any goods signed for as 'Received in good condition' withour being checked and are subsiquently found to be damaged may not be able to be replaced.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to deliver all orders within 2 working days, however due to the nature of our business this is not always possible. If your order is urgent and you need to know when it will be delivered please contact us at sales@thelaptoppowersupplyshop.co.uk after placing your order. We will then be able to quote you a more accurate delivery time.

Our couriers work very hard to ensure your order is delivered on time, however it is possible that on the rare occasion your delivery could be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic congestion, traffic accident, road works and adverse weather etc. The Laptop Power Supply Shop will not be held responsible for delayed deliveries of this nature.

Please ensure that the courier has access to your front door and that you are available to sign for your goods. We can not be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from inaccessability to your property. Goods will not be left without signature.

Failed Deliveries

In the case of a failed delivery, we will e-mail you with the courier contact details and tracking number/s, so that you can arrange for a re-delivery or collection from their depot. Please ensure that our e-mail address (sales@thelaptoppowersupplyshop.co.uk) is not blocked by your spam filter. Should you not contact the courier within 5 working days the goods will be returned to our warehouse, after which we will issue you with a refund less the initial shipping costs + £10.75 return shipping costs.

If Royal Mail are unable to deliver they will leave a calling card with details on how to i)arrange a re-delivery ii)collect your order from the collection point. Mail not collected will be returned to our warehouse where upon receipt we will contact you and give you the option of re-delivery at a cost if at least £3.00 (for one item).

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you and advise you immediately. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. We will not store your credit card details either online or offline.

Guarantee

All goods ordered from us include a minimum of 12 months warranty unless otherwise stated.

Goods are warrantied against technical failure and not against damage or wear & tear during this period. Any claims against damage must be made with 24 hours from time of delivery. More information is available under 'Returns Policy' further down this page.

The Laptop Power Supply Shop does not disclose buyers information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart and previously viewed products. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. Data collected by this site is used to:

  1. Take and fulfill customer orders
  2. Administer and enhance the site and service
  3. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
  4. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
  5. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy

We strive to provide the highest levels of customer service, however the company cannot accept any returned goods if:

  • The goods have been physically damaged by the buyer.
  • The warranty label(s) is/are found to have been tampered with or missing.
  • The goods are found not to have been sold to the Customer by the Company.
  • The goods are outside the warranty limit.
  • The goods do not have a corresponding RMA (Returned Material Authority) number displayed clearly on the item(s) packaging.

The buyer shall bear the cost of all returns. It is advisable to send any items by recorded delivery, as The Laptop Power Supply Shop can not be held responsible for items not being delivered.

All returns, other than warranty returns are to be returned to us within 7 (seven) working days from date of delivery.

An RMA number must be obtained before any item is sent back to the Company. To obtain an RMA number please contact our customer services department at sales@thelaptoppowersupplyshop.co.uk.

The Buyer must inspect all goods on arrival as any damages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt and prior to any installation. If your goods appear damaged in any way, including packaging, they must be signed for as 'damaged' on the delivery sheet with the courier. This covers you in the event of a claim for damage to the items.

In the unlikely event that your new adapter or battery is supplied with the incorrect fitting for your laptop, you must notify us within 72 hours of receipt. You will need to provide us with your laptops full make and model number as well as the part number of your old adapter or battery. If we have supplied you with an incorrect adapter or battery, we will arrange a replacement with a free-post bag for you to return the incorrect item, or a refund.

Upon return of goods found to be faulty we will:
Return a working replacement of equal or better specification to the customer within 14 working days of us receiving the goods. If, after 14 working days, a replacement cannot be sent for whatever reason, a full refund will be given, if requested, at the current market value of the item. If this is not ascertainable, then a refund will be given for the value of the nearest equivalent item.

Except as may be implied by law where the buyer is dealing as a consumer, in event of any breach of these conditions by the company the remedies of the buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods and the company shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
